• Dampson Art does not provide printing services at this time in order to provide savings for our clients.

Graphic Background Request

What is a Graphic Background? it is a background that is created to go behind a pose taken on a solid background or from a high resolution action shot from a game. A good example of these are the popular senior banners you see hanging on gym walls or field fences. The images are not just for seniors though. Any player can request a pose be put on a premade background or on a custom created background.

Dampson Art Background Selection Options:
 

• Premade Backgrounds: Choose from a selection of pre-designed backgrounds created by Dampson Art Designers. Browse the Graphic Backgrounds & Examples Gallery for options.
   

  • Fee: $10 design and labor fee (for one pose) added to the $25 digital purchase.

  • Payment: Requested through the Background Request Form.​

  • Note: if there is a design you like but it it is for a different sport, editing may be done for an additional fee. Email dampsonart@gmail.com for more details and pricing. 
     

• Custom Backgrounds: A completely unique design created specifically for you based on your vision.
   

  • Fee: $50 design and labor fee (for one pose) added to the $25 digital purchase.

  • Payment: Requested through the Background Request Form.
     

• Additional Poses: Extra poses may be added to a premade or custom background

  • Fee: $5 fee added to the above fees.
     

• Premade and Custom Background Selections Combined Pricing: Create a Custom Background and choose a Premade Background in one order.
   

  • Fee: Starting at $60

  • Final cost depends on background and pose variations.

  • Payment: clients will receive a separate invoice after submitting the Background Request Form.

Turnaround Time: Orders are typically completed within 48 hours during off-peak seasons. Delays, if any, will be communicated via email. See the About Page for more details regarding the reasons for delays.

Note: Digital Downloads are not processed through the Background Request Form. Visit the Team Gallery to order digital downloads.

How to Request a Background:

1. Select Your Pose: Browse the Team Gallery above, choose a pose on a solid background, and note the image name (hover on desktop or tap on mobile).

2. Choose a Background: Browse the Graphic Backgrounds & Examples Gallery, select your desired background, and note the image name (hover on desktop or tap on mobile).

3. Fill Out the Background Request Form: Enter the chosen pose and background details in the form below.

4. Pay the Design Fee: Provide the design and labor fee, type "basketball + the player’s name"  in the memo.

5. Request Confirmation: An automatic email will be sent to both you and Dampson Art. If needed, the designers will reach out via email.

6. Receive Your Image: Once your background is ready, it will be added to your gallery, and you'll receive an email notification.

7. Download the Final Image: Purchase and download your image from the Team Gallery above.
